Europe Shows The Way
The Gen Z revolutions have arrived in Europe, drawing hundreds of thousands of young people and workers into the streets across the continent. The same conditions driving these mass movements—from chronically underfunded education to a devastating housing crisis—are also present in Canada and Quebec. While European capitalism may be further along in its senile decay, Canadian capitalism is rapidly preparing the ground for the exact same future.
This issue of Communist Revolution provides an analysis of Europe's Red Autumn and what it means for workers and youth in Canada today, as well as reports from the ground and a center spread dedicated to the key lessons of the revolutionary events of May 1968.
Also in this issue:
- Alberta's referendum solves nothing
- B.C. elections: defeat of the NDP
- Quebec elections: Austerity in power
- Stelco layoffs: How capitalism is gutting Canadian steel
- Movement towards a student strike in Ontario
...and much more!
