Ted Grant Selected Works: Volume 2
Ted Grant Selected Works: Volume 2
The assassination of Leon Trotsky was a terrible blow to the world working class and the struggle for socialism. Without the "old man", the leaders of the Fourth International were blown every which way. They had never absorbed Trotsky's method, and without his guidance, they were unable to understand the dramatic changes that followed World War II.
In this new world - very different from the storm and stress of the 1930s and 1940s - there were new theoretical and organizational questions to be grappled with. Ted Grant's writings on the mass organizations represent a deepening of our understanding of Bolshevik strategy and tactics when it comes to connecting the ideas of revolutionary Marxism with the working class. THis volume is therefore an important addition to the theoretical arsenal of the current generation of Marxists.
